Disney World Vacation Homes

magic kingdom “Recently I booked a vacation pool home with

Disney World Vacation Homes

and was I surprised. The home was lovely and quite spacious. It made our Disney World Vacation a huge hit with my kids. They loved the pool! Thanks” - M. Armstrong, Bloomington, IL

These are the kind of comments we hear daily. Since I am familiar with this reservation, let me let you in on a little secret. She had five people in a party (two adults and 3 kids). The children two girls and one boy were all teenagers. One hotel room was not going to work. She needed space, and she needed to keep the children in separate rooms. The reserevationist suggested a 3BR/2BA vacation pool home and the rest... well, her testimony says it all.

Disney World Vacation Homes came into being in the mid nineties. They were introduced to the market by entrepreneurial Brits who had vacationed in homes for decades. The Brits bought the homes and when they were not using them, they rented them out. Today, there are well over 30,000 vacation villas in the Orlando area.

When we speak of Disney Vacation Homes we need to explain two things. A villa is just another word for home. Second, there are no private detached vacation homes inside Disney World. All of the vacation pool homes are loacted south of Disney World.

The advantages to renting an Orlando Vacation home are many. A study a few years back showed seven reasons why people were choosing Disney World vacation homes over hotel rooms. I have listed for you below those reasons:

1. All homes are close to Disney World and are literally minutes to the parks.
2. Spaciousness... a 3BR/2BA home is about 5 times the size of a normal hotel room.
3. All vacation homes have their own private pool and screened in cabana.
4. These newer homes were constructed in 2004 to 2007.
5. These luxurious vacation homes cost between $350,000 and $600,000 each when first sold.
6. Low nightly rates are similar to the cost of an average hotel near Disney World.
7. All homes have a kitchen complete with all necessities to prepare a feast.

Let’s look at each of the seven reasons and expand on the topics.

All of the Disney pool homes featured on this site are located conveniently to Disney World. All of our pool homes are within a 15 minute drive to the theme parks. Sorry, there is no shuttle service from the communities, so you will need your rental car or taxi.

You don’t want to visit Orlando and be cramped in a hotel room even if it is for only a few days. When you rent an Orlando vacation villa, you will find that you have all of the comforts of your own home. You have a complete kitchen complete with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, disposal, toaster, coffee server, all plate ware, glass ware, silver ware and pots and pans. You can get any number of bedrooms from as low two and three to as many as five.

This vacation will be quite “magical” if your rent a vacation home in Orlando. Why? Because your kids will love having their own private pool and cabana! Think about it, what a better way to unwind from a hot day at the parks then by watching the kids enjoy their own private swimming pool.

There are over 350 vacation homes in our inventory. Almost all of our homes were constructed in top flight communities close to Disney World with the advent of the building boom from 2004 till 2007. This is a huge plus for us. A newer home is what you want your family to stay in. As previously explained, these homes all sold for between $350,000 and $600,000 each.

Why are vacation pool homes so popular? Well it is because of the low nightly rates that are offered. As stated earlier there are over 30,000 homes in the market today. In other words, there is more inventory than there is demand... hence; the nightly rates are extremely low. Simply put it is a buyer’s market. Can you imagine that a home costing $350,000 could rent during the low season for right at $100 per night? If you are looking to save money, you need to consider a Disney World vacation home.

I told you earlier about the kitchen, but let’s take this one step further. Let’s say you want to save just a little money on this vacation and who doesn’t these days. Consider this... with your kitchen; why not at least prepare breakfast. All you need is a little cereal, some doughnuts or sweet rolls, juice, milk, coffee and maybe even sausage and biscuits. Now, let’s look at the dollars and cents. You just saved your family of four over $250 for the week because if you would have gone to Bob Evans, Waffle House or Cracker Barrel, you definitely would have spent more than this.
